Helau! Alaaf! Hoi, hoi, hoi!
Karneval is a tradition celebrated in February in many regions of Germany. Our students will celebrate Karneval on Feb. 10th, 2023 in the Social Hall and their classrooms. Parents are welcome to join us in the Social Hall at 5:00 PM for some Music, Schunkeln and a fun Polonaise with our special guests, the Chicago Karnevals Prinz and Prinzess.
Please send your child in a school-appropriate costume; nothing fancy, last year's Halloween costume will do. Anything resembling a weapon (gun, sword, knife, stick, etc.) should be left at home.
Back in the classrooms students will enjoy a traditional pretzel, juice, water, and some fun games!
School ends at 6:30pm!
