OUR SCHOOL
The German Language School of Naperville (GLSN) was founded in 2001 and has since been offering German classes for toddlers, children, adolescents, and adults of all ages and all skill levels. Learning German at GLSN provides a valuable international experience and the bilingual advantage creates true global opportunities.
Director's Message
Welcome from the director of the school, Anne Becker
Herzlich Willkommen! Wir freuen uns ganz besonders, Sie auf unserer Webseite begrüßen zu können.
Here at the GLSN we provide a fun, safe, and stimulating environment for all students - children and adults - to learn the German language and culture. Our outstanding educational curriculum is endorsed by the Central Agency for Schools Aboard (ZFA) and based on the Common European Framework of References for Languages (CEFR). Through this specialized curriculum we provide a learning experience that enhances academics, social and emotional learning as well as cultural aspects of the German language.
Whether you are a native speaker encouraging your child in their German heritage, or a parent wishing to raise a bilingual child, we have a program to support you! Our programs foster exchange of ideas and provide the resources and support to assist you in your efforts. Please don’t hesitate to reach out to me with any questions!
Herzliche Grüße, Anne Becker, Director GLSN
