Service Description
Friday, 5pm - 7:30pm This class is taught exclusively in German and prepares the students to successfully take the DSD II exam (“Deutsches Sprachdiplom”) to receive the German Language Certificate of the German Education Authorities on level B2/C1 of the Common European Framework of References for Languages. This certificate entitles foreign students to enroll in universities in Germany. As far as written communication is concerned, the students will learn to evaluate texts about above mentioned topics and to discuss in writing the key topic of the text by weighing the pros and cons (“dialectical discussion” or in a straight line (“linear discussion”) with a logical conclusion at the end. Students will earn how to prepare a presentation with opposing viewpoints on the C1 language level. They can deal with every situation typically encountered when traveling in Germany or studying at a university. Students stay in this class for a year and a half and take the DSD II exam after the third semester.
