Libby was raised in Vienna, Austria since the age of 5 and lived there until she moved and attended Wheaton College in the United States. After college she worked in finance before having children, and now, she and her husband and four children live in Wheaton.

She homeschools all four children, and her two oldest attend German Language School of Naperville. Libby loves the German language and culture and is excited to represent Austria at GLSN.
