Sabine was born in Bavaria, Germany and studied Chemical Engineering at the Technical University in Munich. As part of her studies Sabine spent a semester at Georgia Tech where she met her husband. Together they moved to the Chicago suburbs and lived there for about 7 years. Her last job was at a small specialty chemical plant in Romeoville before her daughter was born in 2015. Since then she has been focusing on her family.

After spending 5 years back in Germany, they moved to Naperville in July 2021. In Germany she did honorary work to help integrate foreign kids (age 3-5) into pre-school/kindergarten through weekly meet-ups. Through her work at the German School in Naperville, Sabine hopes to help more families with multilingual/bilingual backgrounds.
