Born and raised in the suburbs of Cologne, Sandra came to the U.S. in 2008 to work as an Au-Pair for a family in Homer Glen, IL. Later that year she met her now husband and lives in Warrenville with him and their three children.

Sandra's children have been attending the German School of Naperville since toddler age. As the oldest of 8 siblings Sandra always wanted to become an educator and has been working as a preschool teacher since 2001. She started working at the German School as a Krabbelgruppe-teacher in 2019. Sandra also works part time at her local park district.
